Fatima Prayer 3

My God, I believe, I adore, I hope, I love You.
I ask forgiveness for those who do not believe,
nor adore, nor hope nor love you.

Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
I adore You profoundly,
and I offer You the Most Precious Body, Blood, Soul and
Divinity of Jesus Christ,
present in all tabernacles of the world,
in reparation for the outrages sacrileges
and indifferences by which He is offended,
and by the infinite merits of His Most Sacred Heart
and through the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
I beg the conversion of poor sinners.

Imp. FATIMAE, 13 Mensis Maii 1960

Joannes, Episcopus Leiriensis.

O my Jesus, forgive us;
save us from the fire of hell;
take all souls to heaven,
especially those most in need.

Prayer for the Feast of Corpus Christ TI

Throughout the year, O Jesus,
thou dost remain humbly hidden within the tabernacle,
awaiting, receiving, and hearing the souls
who come to Thy feet in search of sympathy
and consolation in their sorrows,
light and support in the trials of life.

Only on this day,
leaving Thy silent loneliness,
Thou goest forth,
passing in triumph and benediction
through the streets and squares of the cities
in a maze of lights and music,
incense and flowers,
in the midst of joyous multitudes,
who fall down in adoration before Thee.

In the synagogue of Capharnaum,
the unbelieving throng,
rebelling against Thy words of faith and love, deserted
Thee;
but in the Upper Room that last evening of Thine earthly
life,
when the dark clouds of betrayal
were already settling upon Thy sorrowful soul,
Thou didst make Thy divine promise a reality,
perpetuating in the institution of the Holy Eucharist,
as in a living memorial,
the infinite love with which Thy Heart
was overflowing towards mankind.
By means of this august Sacrament,
Thou wouldst prolong Thy presence in the world
even to the end of time;
and the souls of men,
seated at Thy heavenly banquet,
were to taste inwardly the sweet irradiations of Thy grace
and the ineffable delights of Thy love.

O Jesus, make me feel the overwhelming attraction of Thy
silent tabernacle,
which has ever drawn not only the little ones,
but has always been and will continue to be
the joy of pure and great souls.
Grant me a living faith and an ardent love
for Thee hidden under the sacramental species,
so that, frequently drawing near to Thy table
where the “Bread of Life” is set out,
I may receive the germ of a life that will not die.

Amen.

The Fertility Blessing

You know my deep desire for a child
A little one to love and to hold, to care for,
to cherish. Grant that my body may conceive
and give birth to a beautiful, healthy baby in
Your holy image.

Guide me in all my choices so that this
conception, my pregnancy and my baby’s birth
are in line with Your will.
Heavenly Father and Holy Mother,
hear this prayer of my heart, mind and spirit.

Amen.

Fifth Centenary Prayer

Your Word of Life, O God,
reached these lands five centuries ago,
and calls us still to proclaim the saving message of
Christ.

We pray today for a dawn of a new evangelization in these
lands.

Send us out to draw others to You,
into Your peace,
into the Church,
into lives dedicated to the Gospel.

As people of many cultures and races,
may our voices speak together of hope and welcome to all.

May our hands lift high the torch of new life and
solidarity.

May our hearts years for justice and truth.
Renew in us the courage and strength
to reach out to the neediest in our midst.
United in faith and prayer, with Mary,
Virgin Mother of the Americas,
keep us ever steadfast in Your love
as we strive for Your vision of a world renewed.
We ask this through Christ, Our Lord.

Amen.

Prayer for the Fifth Week of Lent

Mother or a child:
From a homily of Pope St. Leo.

Dearly beloved, the apostle Paul has said: “If we suffer with Christ, we shall also be glorified with Him. Therefore whoever participates in the sufferings of our Redeemer enjoys the sure and certain hope of the glory He has promised.”

Father:
Hail, O Cross,
Family:
you are the only hope of man.
Father:

Let us pray. God, all powerful, look upon Your family with kindness: may your generous bounty take care of our bodies and Your solicitude watch over our souls. This we ask of You through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son.
Family:

Amen.

Favor this dwelling, Lord, with your presence. Far from it repulse all the wiles of Satan. Your holy angels, let them live here, to keep us in peace. And may your blessing remain always upon us. This we ask of You through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son.

Father:
Let us bless the Lord.
Family:
Thanks be to God.
Father:
May the almighty and merciful Lord, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, bless and keep us.
Family:

Amen.

Fill Me With Your Glory

This prayer “Fill Me With Your Glory” was written
by Mary Jane Hurley Brant in honor of Katie Brant in July, 2000

Dear Lord,
Fill me with your glory and your hope.
Help me to remember that without you
I can do nothing very long
But with you,
I can help further your holy plan.

Assist my spirit in remembering
That I can be instrumental and steadfast
Faithfully aiding our heavenly Mother
To nurture all of her children
Through kindness and love.

Teach me to remember what I have always known,
That I came from You and I shall return to You,
And there, within Your perpetual light,
My every tear shall dry away for I shall be with You
And those I loved so dearly here.

Guide me in Your plan to courageously and fearlessly say,
Not my will but Yours be done
Trusting always that my motivations here on earth
Are driven by Your holy will.

Show me the happiness which springs forth from having faith,
The peace and joy that forgiveness brings,
And how prayer always makes life meaningful,
Despite any fears, or losses or pain
I may be suffering in the moment.

Love me into full being so when I am born to eternal life,
I shall feel fulfilled realizing I recognized and multiplied
All the talents You gave to me
And the sweet validation and peace I may humbly claim
From listening to You, The Bridegroom of my soul.

Prayer for the First Week of Lent

Mother or a child:
From the words of St. Paul [2 Cor. 6:1-2].
Dearly beloved, we entreat you not to receive the grace of God in vain.

For he says: “In an acceptable time I have beard you,
and in the day of salvation I have helped you. Behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”

Father:
This time of fasting has opened to us the gates of paradise. Let us accept it, praying and beseeching.
Family:
That on the day of resurrection we may be glorified in the Lord.
Father:
Let us pray.

Through the observance of Lent, O Lord, You purify Your Church every year. See to it that Your children lead a better life and so obtain the graces they are striving to acquire by doing penance.

Family:

Amen.
