O Lord God Almighty, I pray Thee, by the Precious Blood which Thy Divine Son Jesus shed in the garden, deliver the souls in Purgatory and especially that soul amongst them all which is most destitute of spiritual aid; and vouchsafe to bring it to Thy glory, there to praise and bless Thee forever.

O Lord God Almighty, I pray Thee by the Precious Blood which Thy Divine Son Jesus shed in His cruel scourging, deliver the souls in Purgatory, and especially that soul amongst them all, which is nearest to its entrance into Thy glory; so it may forthwith begin to praise and bless Thee forever.

O Lord God Almighty, I pray Thee by the Precious Blood which Thy Divine Son Jesus shed in His bitter crowning with thorns, deliver the souls in Purgatory, and in particular that one amongst them all which would be the last to depart out of those pains, that it may come to praise Thee in Thy glory and bless Thee forever.

O Lord God Almighty, I pray Thee by the Precious Blood which Thy Divine Son Jesus shed in the streets of Jerusalem, when He carried the Cross upon His sacred shoulders, deliver the souls in Purgatory, and especially that soul which is richest in merits before Thee; so that it may magnify Thee and bless Thee forever. 

Amen.

O Lord God Almighty, I pray Thee, by the Precious Body and Blood of They Divine Son, which He gave with His own hands upon the eve of His Passion to His beloved Apostles, and which He left to His whole Church to be a perpetual sacrifice, deliver the souls in Purgatory, and especially that one which was most devoted to this mystery of infinite love, that it may ever praise Thee for Thy love, in eternal glory.

O Lord God Almighty, I beseech Thee by the Precious Blood which gushed forth from they side of Thy Divine Son Jesus, in the sight and to the extreme pain of His most holy Mother, deliver the souls in purgatory, and especially that one which was the most devoted to her; that it may soon attain unto Thy glory, there to praise Thee, world without end.

God of wisdom and love,
you have sent your Son Jesus to be the light of the world,
and continue to send your Holy Spirit among us
to guide us into the way of truth.

Open our hearts to your word
and let us ponder your actions among us.
Give us your Spirit of wisdom and knowledge,
of understanding and counsel.
With Mary, may we rejoice in your gifts,
and walk in the way of truth and love.

With all your people on earth and in eternity,
we ask this prayer through our Lord Jesus Christ,
in the unity of your loving Spirit,
one holy God, for ever and ever.

Our Lady of Good Counsel, pray for us always; ask our God to help us to be faithful to our baptism, to be fervent in prayer, and to be ready to live each day with your son.

Mother of Good Counsel, pray to Jesus for us: ask him to give us his Spirit, and to lead us always in the paths of love and service.

O our Lady of Guadalupe, mystical rose, make intercession for Holy Church, protect the Sovereign Pontiff, help all those who invoke thee in their necessities, and since thou art the ever Virgin Mary and Mother of the true God, obtain for us from thy most holy Son the grace of keeping our faith, sweet hope in the midst of the bitterness of life, burning charity and the precious gift of final perseverance.

O Mary, conceived without sin, I come to your throne of grace to share the fervent devotion of your faithful Mexican children who call to Thee under the glorious title “Guadalupe” – the Virgin who crushed the serpent.

Queen of Martyrs, whose Immaculate Heart was pierced by seven swords of grief, help me to walk valiantly amid the sharp thorns strewn across my path. Invoke the Holy Spirit of Wisdom to fortify my will to frequent the Sacraments so that, thus enlightened and strengthened, I may prefer God to all creatures and shun every occasion of sin.

Help me, as a living branch of the Vine that is Jesus Christ, to exemplify His divine charity always seeking the good of others. Queen of Apostles, aid me to win souls for the Sacred Heart of my Savior. Keep my apostolate fearless, dynamic, and articulate, to proclaim the loving solitude of Our Father in Heaven so that the wayward may heed His pleading and obtain pardon, through the merits of Your Merciful Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ.

O Virgin of Guadalupe, Mother of the Americas, grant to our homes the grace of loving and respecting life in its beginnings, with the same love with which you conceived in your womb the life of the Son of God. Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Fair Love, protect our families so that they may always be united and bless the upbringing of our children. 
Our hope, look upon us with pity, teach is to go continually to Jesus, and if we fall help us to rise again and return to Him through the confession of our faults and our sins in the Sacrament of penance, which gives peace to the soul.

We beg you to grant us a great love of all the holy Sacraments, which are, as it were, the signs that your Son left us on earth. Thus, Most Holy Mother, with the peace of God in our consciences, with our hearts free from evil and hatred, we will be able to bring to all others true joy and peace, which come to us from your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, who with the Father and the Holy Spirit, lives and reigns for ever and ever.

In the United States, the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe 
is celebrated on December 12. The following is the 
Opening prayer of the memorial of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

God of power and mercy,
you blessed the Americas at Tepeyac
with the presence of the Virgin Mary of Guadalupe.
May her prayers help all men and women
to accept each other as brothers and sisters. 
Through your justice present in our hearts 
may Your peace reign in the world.
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, 
for ever and ever.

Amen.

He who prays is certain to be saved; while he who prays not is certain to be damned. All the saints were saved, and came to be saints by praying; all the accursed souls in hell were lost through neglect of prayer; if they had prayed, it is certain that they would not have been lost. And this will be one of the greatest occasions of their anguish in hell, the thought that they might have saved themselves so easily; that they had only to beg God to help them, but that now the time is past when this could avail them (from The Necessity of Prayer).

Eternal God…
Bless your Church with holy and faithful priests,
deacons, brothers and sisters.

Give those you have called to the married state
and those you have chosen to live as single persons in the 
world,
the special graces that their lives require.

Form us all in the likeness of your Son so that in him,
with him and through him
we may love you more deeply and serve you more faithfully,
always and everywhere.

With Mary we ask this through Christ our Lord.
