Lord Jesus, Grant saintly priests to the world, priests who live close to the Eucharist, who have a deep spiritual life, who work and suffer, yet with a joyful heart, priests who dedicate each minute of their lives for the salvation of souls and Your Kingdom.

O God, You sent Your Son, Jesus, to bring eternal life to those who believe. I join Him in praying for labourers for Your harvest. May Your Holy Spirit inspire men and women to continue his mission through Your priesthood, diaconate, religious life and lay ministry. May this same Spirit make known Your will for my life.

For Vocations

Lord Jesus Christ, Saviour of the world, we humbly beg of Thee to revive in Thy Church that spirit which Thou didst so abundantly bestow on the Apostles. Call, we pray Thee, very many to Thy priesthood and to the religious life. And may zeal for Thy glory and the salvation of souls inflame those whom Thou hast chosen, may they be saints in Thy likeness, and may Thy Spirit strengthen them. O Jesus, give us priests and religious after Thine own Heart!

Lord, in Your love for the Church, You provide bishops, priests, and deacons as shepherds for Your people, and You call men and women to leave all things to serve You joyfully in religious life. 

May those whom You have raised up as servants of the Gospel and ministers for Your altars show forth dedication and compassion.

May those whom You have chosen to serve You as religious provide, by their way of life, a convincing sign of Your Kingdom for the Church and the whole world.

Jesus, you are the Good Shepherd. You know each of us and You call us by name to serve You in faith. Help us to respond generously to Your voice. Give courage and guidance to those You call to the priesthood and diaconate, to religious life and lay ministry, so that they may respond whole heartedly and serve devoutly.

O Mary, Mother of Jesus! Obtain for fervent souls the grace to hear and the courage to follow thy Divine Son in the path of religious perfection.
