We offer to the Most Holy Trinity the merits of Jesus Christ, in thanksgiving for His unspeakable, by which He descended from heaven to earth to take human flesh, and to suffer and die for us upon the Cross; and by His merits we beseech the Divine Majesty to bring out souls to the glory of heaven after our death.

I venerate thee with my whole heart, O Most Holy Virgin, above all the Angels and Saints in Heaven, as the beloved Spouse of the Holy Ghost; and I consecrate thee my heart with all its affections, beseeching thee to obtain for me of the Most Sacred Trinity every help for my salvation.

O that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and be at rest; Truly, I would flee far away; I would lodge in the wilderness.

I would hurry to find a shelter for myself from the raging wind and tempest Confuse, O Lord, confound their speech.

For I see violence and strife in the city. Day and night they go around it on its walls; and iniquity and trouble are within it.

Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.

LORD, we ask for more than Thy Mercy! We desire Thee to reign over us. Thine interests must be ours. By the Love of Thy Sacred Heart, which surpasses all knowledge, we beg Thee, O Jesus, to fulfill in our time the promises made to St. Margaret Mary. In union with Holy Church, through the intercession of Thy Virgin Mother, for the honor of Thy Holy Name, Jesus, we ask Thee to hasten and establish the reign of Thy Divine Heart, here and now.

Triumph by the reign of Thy Sacred Heart! Hasten Thy reign, O Jesus, before Satan and the world snatch more souls from Thee and corrupt every state of life. 

Triumph by the reign of Thy Sacred Heart! Come, O Jesus! and gain the victory of Thy Love in every home. Reign there by Thy Peace, promised to all who have joyfully received Thee into their homes. 

Triumph by the reign of Thy Sacred Heart! Do not delay, Beloved Jesus, for many homes are suffering bitter evils which Thou alone canst heal. 
Triumph by the reign of Thy Sacred Heart! Come! because Thou art strong; because Thou art the God of life’s battles. In Thy Pierced and Wounded Side is Thy Pledge to us and our hope of Heaven at the hour of death. 

Triumph by the reign of Thy Sacred Heart! Good Master! what of the numberless lukewarm and indifferent souls? Hasten to enlighten them in devotion to Thy Loving Heart.

Triumph by the reign of Thy Sacred Heart! Give to priests who love Thee, and who preach Thy Love the power of eloquence to draw souls to Thy Heart. 

Triumph by the reign of Thy Sacred Heart! Finally, Lord Jesus, grant that by our fidelity to First Friday Communion, we may obtain the rewards of Thy great promise the grace that we shall not die under Thy displeasure, nor without receiving the last Sacraments, that Thy Divine Heart may be our final refuge at that last hour.

Lord Jesus, there is anger in my heart and I cannot root it out.
I know that I should calm down and offer the hurt and disappointment to You
but my emotion is running away with me.
Help me to overcome this weakness and give me peace of heart as well as mind.
Let me learn from this experience and grow into a better human being.

Amen.

Dearest Jesus, who wept at the death of your friend 
and taught that they who mourn shall be comforted, 
grant us the comfort of your presence in our loss. 
Send Your Holy Spirit to direct us 
lest we make hasty or foolish decisions. 
Send Your Spirit to give us courage 
lest through fear we recoil from living. 
Send Your Spirit to bring us your peace 
lest bitterness, false guilt, or regret take root in our hearts.

The Lord has given. 
The Lord has taken away. 
Blessed be the name of the Lord.

O sweet mother Mary, 
who knew the sadness of mourning those your heart loved most,
Jesus, your Son, 
and Joseph, your devoted spouse,

pray for us in our time of loss.

Mercy of God, encompass us, and deliver us from every plague.

Wounds of my Jesus, mouths of love and mercy, speak for us in pity to the Eternal Father; hide us within yourselves, and deliver us.

Eternal Father, Jesus is ours; ours His Blood, ours His infinite merits; to Thee we offer ourselves wholly; then, if Thou lovest Him, and holdest precious this gift we make Thee, Thou surely wilt deliver us; and for this we hope with fullest confidence.

Eternal Fahter, Thou desirest not the death of a sinner, but rather that he should be converted and live; in Thy mercy grant that we may live before Thee, and be forever Thine.

Save us, Christ our Saviour, by the virtue of Thy holy Cross: Thou Who didst save Peter in the sea, have mercy upon us.

Mary, Mother of mercy, pray for us, and we shall be delivered; Mary, our advocate, speak for us, and we shall be saved.

The Lord justly scourgeth us for our sins; but do thou, Mary, plead for us, for thou art our most tender Mother.

Mary, in Thy Jesus and in thee have we put our hope: Oh! let us never be confounded.

Salve Regina…

O God, Who knowest us to be set in the midst of such great perils, that, by reason of the weakness of our nature, we cannot stand upright, grant us such health of mind and body, that those evils which we suffer for our sins we may overcome through Thine assistance. Through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

I shall walk through dark valleys, I fear no harm for you are at my side. Your rod and staff shall give me courage, No evil shall befall me, No weakness in my stride. 

God wills not my foot to slip Or my guardian sleep, He guides me from all evil,

The Lord is my guardian; The Lord the shade I keep, By day the sun cannot harm me Or the moon by night. 

For the Lord said, “Do not let your hearts be troubled, Have faith in God and also in me. In my Father’s house There are many dwelling places. If there were not, Would I have told you That I am going to prepare A place for you? 

And if I go And prepare a place for you, I will come back again And take you to myself, So that where I am You also may be.” 
If the Lord is with us, Who can be against us?

Lord Jesus, you came into the world to heal our infirmities and to endure our sufferings. You went about healing all and bringing comfort to those in pain and need. We come before you now in this time of illness asking that you may be the source of our strength in body, courage in spirit and patience in pain. May we join ourselves more closely to you on the cross and in your suffering that through them we may draw our patience and hope. Assist us and restore us to health so that united more closely to your family, the Church, we may give praise and honour to your name.
