Hear my prayer, O God, give ear to my supplications! In your faithfulness answer me, in your righteousness! Enter not into judgment with your servant for no one living is righteous before you. 

For the enemy has pursued me, has crushed my life to the ground, and has made me sit in darkness like those long dead. Therefore my spirit faints within me; my heart within me is appalled. I remember the days of old, I meditate on all that you have done; I muse on what your hands have wrought, I stretch out my hands to you; my soul thirsts for you like a parched land. 

Make haste to answer me, O God, My spirit fails! Hide not your face from me, lest I be like those who go down to the Pit, Let me hear in the mourning of your steadfast love, for in you I put my trust. 
Teach me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul. Deliver me, O God, from my enemies.

I have fled to you for refuge! 
Teach me to do your will for you are my God! 
Let your good spirit lead me on a level path! 
Glory be to the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be world without end.

I give thanks to God for this day, in which
My dream will flourish, my plans will succeed,
My destiny will be assured, and the desire of my heart
Will be granted in Jesus’ name.
The money I need will know my name and address
Before the end of this month.
As I awake this morning, may my life be clean,
Calm and clear as the early morning dew.
May the grace of the Almighty support, sustain and
Supply all my needs according to His riches in glory.

Loving Father, I entrust myself to your care this day; guide with wisdom and skill the minds and hands of the medical people who minister in your Name, and grant that every cause of illness be removed, I may be restored to soundness of health and learn to live in more perfect harmony with you and with those around me. Through Jesus Christ.

Amen. 

Into your hands, I commend my body and my soul.

Blessed Savior, I thank you that this operation is safely past, and now I rest in your abiding presence, relaxing every tension, releasing every care and anxiety, receiving more and more of your healing life into every part of my being. In moments of pain I turn to you for strength, in times of loneliness I feel your loving nearness. Grant that your life and love and joy may flow through me for the healing of others in your name.

Amen.

O Jesus Christ, Messiah and Lord, grant me joyful acceptance of the surgery which awaits me, and let this be the relief and cure which I seek. Make skilled the work of the surgeon and that of his team for it is unto their knowledge and skill that I give myself for healing. I pray You, O Lord, that this procedure will be without complication, and that my recovery will be speedy and complete.

Grant, O Lord, we beseech Thee, 
that while we lament the departure of Thy servant, 
we may always remember that 
we are most certainly to follow him. 
Give us grace to prepare for the last hour 
by a good and holy life, 
that we may not be taken unprepared by sudden death, 
but may be ever on the watch, that, 
when Thou shalt call, 
we may go forth to meet the Bridegroom, 
and enter with Him into glory everlasting. 
Through the same Jesus Christ our Lord.

O most wise and merciful Lord, 
Who hast ordained this life 
as a passage to the future, 
confining our repentance to the time of our pilgrimage 
here, 
and reserving for hereafter the state of punishment and 
reward; 
vouchsafee to us who are yet alive, 
and have still the opportunity to reconciliation with Thee,
the grace so to watch over all our actions, 
and to correct every slightest wandering 
from the true way of heaven, 
that we may not be surprised with our sins uncancelled, 
or our duties unfulfilled; 
but when our bodies shall go down in the grave, 
our souls may ascend to Thee, 
and dwell with Thee forever 
in the mansions of eternal bliss.
